We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is shared only with our SMS service provider (Twilio) for the purpose of delivering messages.

CRM SMS Data

If you use the CRM to send SMS messages to your contacts, those messages are transmitted through Twilio on your behalf. We retain logs of sent messages (recipient, timestamp, delivery status) for your records and for platform integrity. Message content is stored to support your CRM communication history.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may receive or process your data:

  • Stripe for payment processing (both platform billing and CRM invoice payments)
  • Twilio for SMS message delivery
  • SMTP2Go for transactional email delivery
  • Google Analytics for anonymized usage analytics
  • Google Search Console for search performance data
  • Cloudflare for CDN, SSL, and security
  • RunCloud for server hosting and management

Each third-party service is governed by its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

5. Data for Directory Sites You Operate

When you operate a directory site on our platform, you are the data controller for personal data collected through your site (visitor information, listing owner data, CRM contacts, lead form submissions). My Directory Kit acts as the data processor, providing the infrastructure to store and manage this data on your behalf.

As a directory site operator, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining your own privacy policy for your directory visitors
  • Obtaining consent for data collection where required by law
  • Complying with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy regulations
  • Ensuring CRM communications to your contacts comply with applicable messaging laws

  • Cancelled accounts: Site and data retained for 90 days after subscription ends, then permanently deleted

  • Support communications: Retained for 2 years
  • SMS and email logs: Retained for the duration of your subscription; deleted with your account
  • CRM data: Retained for the duration of your subscription; you may delete individual records at any time from your dashboard

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encrypted storage for sensitive credentials (API keys, payment tokens)
  • Secure hosting infrastructure with daily backups
  • Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights
